Narpula Scobie Napurrula

Narpula was born in the Haasts Bluff region in the late 1950’s. She is the widow of Johnny Scobie Tjapanangka who was one of the orinal shareholders and artist with Papunya Tula Artists. She moved with him to the new township of Kintore in 1981, and assisted him with his painting. She was one of the first women to paint in her own right for Papunya Tula.

Narpula is the younger sister of Turkey Tolson Tjupurrula.
